How To Apply for N-Power Programme Nigeria: Recruitment of 500,000 Workers

The online registration of the 500000 teacher’s recruitment has started, interested Nigerian youths are to visit the official N-Power website to register and get enrolled into the programme. Remember that this category of the N-Power programme is only for undergraduates and will employ only 500,000 (five hundred thousand) graduates from Nigeria into the N-Power scheme.

This will create massive employment to Nigerian youths into sectors cutting across education, agriculture, technology, creative, construction and artisanal industries. This is one of Buhari’s project to reduce unemployment in the country by engaging her untapped manpower into various sectors.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has designed the N-Power Programme to drastically reduce youth unemployment. The focus is to provide our young graduates and non-graduates with the skills, tools and livelihood to enable them advance from unemployment to employment, entrepreneurship and innovation. The first phase of N-Power will target Nigeria’s critical needs in education, agriculture, technology, creative, construction and artisanal industries. N-Power is also preparing Nigeria for a global outsourcing push where our young Nigerians can export their services to work on global projects that earn Nigeria , foreign exchange.

N-Power Teachers Corps – 500,000 graduates.

N-Power Knowledge – 25,000 non-graduates.

N-Power Build – 75,000 non-graduates.

Npower.gov.ng teacher corps programme is the federal government’s initiative that will train 500, 000 unemployed graduates in Nigeria and the selected 500,000 persons will be trained for 2 years with monthly salary. Computer will be given to all the 500,000 N-Power teachers corps recruitment candidates and the computers will include information and software that will aid their training and advisory solutions in 4 key areas (N-Power Agro, N-Power Health, N-Power Teach, N-Power Community Education).

How To Apply for N-Power Programme Recruitment 2016.

Interested candidates who met the minimum requirements for the respective programmes as listed on the N-Power website are to follow the steps outlined below to apply / register.

1. Visit the NPower portal or the N-power Application website via npower.gov.ng

2. Click on the various programmes on www.npower.gov.ng and carefully read through them

3. Choose the programme that you are qualified for and best suits your aspiration

4. Click on the APPLY button at the bottom of the page to apply for your preferred programme. (Note: You will need to first register and then sign in with a unique username and password)

5. Fill the form carefully and be certain to provide accurate information and documents to support your application

6. After submitting, you will receive an acknowledgement email letter confirming the receipt of your application

7. After 48hours, you will be notified by email and in your portal profile whether you are eligible or not for the N-Power programe

8. If you are unsuccessful, you may apply for future N-Power programes, if you meet the eligibility requirements

9. If you are successful, you may then proceed to the test page at MY N-POWER PORTAL

10. You will be required to write two tests; a general skills test and a program specific test

11. Depending on your programme, there may be a final interview before you are conditionally accepted into the N-Power programe. Otherwise you will receive an email confirming your provisional acceptance into the N-Power programme

12. You will have to confirm your acceptance to secure your place

13. Specific enrolment and training information will now be made available to you
