What is Play (Google) Store or App Store???

Google Play or Google Play Store, formally called Android Market, is a digital distribution platform operated by Google. It serves as the official app store for the Android operating system, allowing users to browse and download applications developed with the Android SDK and published through Google.

Play Store is a default application on most or any Android-based device, be it a mobile phone, tablet, and so forth, and is usually located in the path Apps » Play Store. Apart from media [books, magazines, music, films and TV programmes] and applications on the Play Store, tangible articles and Google-branded items are also available for purchase on the Store, although these features are not available in all countries.

The Google Play Store comes already installed on your Android device.
Users of Android-compatible devices can browse through the store, search for their desired apps and then download and install them to their device.
