How To Remove 'Powered By Blogger' Default Attribution Widget

Although, removing of blogger default attribution may not be advisable but for those who wish to do so maybe because of one thing or the other. I decide to publish this post to enable that wishes to remove the default blogger attribution, which you will find at the bottom of your blog

How can I Remove the Default attribution?

1. Login to blogger with your I.D (i.e your email address and password)

2. Navigate to Template and click it

3. Click on Edit HTML

4. Select Jump to Widget, scroll down and click on Attribution

5. Look closely well, you will see

6. Now replace the locked=’true’ to locked=’false’ as you can see highlighted below

7. Click Save Template and allow it save.

8. Navigate back to Layout, scroll down to Attribution widget down

9. Click Edit and choose or click on Remove.

10. Go back to your Layout, you will find out that the default attribution is no more.

If you wish to add back the attribution back, just go to Add Widget to do so.
