How to Stop Unwanted and Unnecessary Advert SMS from MTN Nigeria

Quite frankly i think it’s time these network providers start understanding that this their sms advertisements are getting too much. I usually get sms alerts from them on one thing or the other that i did not subscribe too.

It’s so annoying receiving these baseless adverts from MTN all the time even when you didn't subscribe to the messages they send to your SIM. If you are an MTN customer, then receiving such advert SMS from this network everyday shouldn't be strange to you. 

Today, i will show you how to deactivate or stop receiving all these useless advert SMS from MTN which most at times you are billed for.

Big thanks to the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) for tackling these issues by directing all mobile network providers in Nigeria to give their customers the option to opt out of any service subscribed to with or without their consent.

How to opt out of all MTN SMS Adverts that deducts your Money
If you'd like to stop receiving those advert messages from MTN and also opt out of Mobile Ad, simple dial *123*5*4# and follow the on screen instruction.

When the process is completed, you will get a notification stating that you have successfully opt out of mobile advertising.

How To Stop MTN Frustrating Adverts/Text Messages
I know how frustrating this text could be, especially if you are like me, always expecting a credit bank alert. Now the end has come for the unsolicited text messages from MTN.

Just send STOP To 33111.
