Court Injunction Stop Uche Ogah Swearing-in As Abia State New Governor

Yesterday, I shared to you about INEC Issuing Certificate of Return To Mr. Samson Uche Ogah As Abia State New Governor base on Abuja Night Court directive on Monday to issue Certificate of Return to Uche Ogah and swear-in as substantial Governor of Abia State.

That Order was half way fulfilled because of what happened. After INEC fulfilled that Order from Abuja High Court, something happen. Just after INEC issued Certificate of Return to Mr. Uche Ogah, Abia State Chief of Judge was about to swear-in Uche Ogah as New Governor of Abia state and replacement for Okezie Ikpeazu when new order from Abia State High Court came, to stop Uche Ogah from being sworn-in as Governor.

Mr. Ogah hopes were dashed by a court injunction barring the chief judge of the state from going ahead with the ceremony.

The ceremony was cut short by a high court in Abia state which asked all parties and the state chief judge from going ahead with the exercise

Meanwhile, the Conference of Nigeria Political Parties (CNPP) has commended INEC for promptly issuing certificate of return to Dr Uche Ogah as the Abia state governor in line with the judgement of a federal high court in Abuja, which sacked Okezie Ikpeazu as the state governor.

More details will come soon.......
