How I Save My Documents Easily On An Online Storage Using Email

Online Storage can be regards to an e-store where you can save your data for future use and It is more or less of an offline storage like an hard-disk space on a PC, as they both worked similarly except some few differences.

E-mail (also known as an electronic mail) is a medium used for sending and receiving messages on the internet. This is an easier form of communication, as unlike an SMS, email can have an attachment like pictures in its content. With online storage, you'll never need to worry about losing your most important files, documents, and correspondence. There is MORE to an email than just to send and receive message, something MORE like using it as an ONLINE STORAGE.



One of the biggest advantage of an online storage is the easier accessibility from wherever you are, unlike an offline storage which requires you to take the storage device with you anywhere you go.

In this article, I will show you how i save my document (e.g CV or any important doc) on Online Storage using my email.

1. Gmail: Gmail is a free, advertising-supported email service provided by Google. Users may access Gmail as secure webmail (or web-based email). Gmail was originally launched with 1 GB of storage space. As of 2015, storage of up to 15 GB is free, and paid plans are available for up to 30 TB for personal use. Sign Up for Gmail account.

2. Yahoomail: Yahoo Mail is a free email service offered by the American company Yahoo. The service comes in two configurations, free and business. Sign Up for Yahoo mail account.

3. Mail.com: Here, you will Get unlimited storage for your emails; Access your emails on your mobile phone or tablet; Collect emails from different accounts into one to simplify your life; etc. Sign Up

How I save my Documents Easily on above mentioned Online Storage Using my Email
  • Login to your Mail and Click on Compose.
  • Make The Subject of The Email as The Title of the Document (so as to easily remember next time) e.g MY Curriculum Vitae for CV
  • Upload the document by attaching it
  • Once you've done the above process successfully, now send it to your other email (if you're using two mails)
OR;
  • Send it to your Self-email (if you're using ONE email)
  • And There You Go!
After following these steps above successfully, you can now access your documents anytime, any day, wherever and whenever.

NOTE: This post was intended to aid those who might want to access an important document without having an offline storage device.
