How To Lock PC USB Port From Unauthorized Use

This tutorial is for advanced PC users, but I will try my best to make Middle-Class and novice to understand it also. It’s necessary sometimes to lock your USB port from people that are criminals from gaining access to your PC content or even using your modem to browse. Follow up this tutorial very well, and see it done.

How to do this?
1. Go to start >> Run

2. Type “Regedit”without the sign

3. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/Current Control Set/Control.

4. Here Add a new folder on the left pane by right clicking on it and selecting “New|Key”.

5. Name this folder ‘Storage Device Polices’

6. Click this New folder and in the window on the right create a new DWORD value, label it ‘Write Perfect’, give it a value of ‘1’

That all…..

Now users will not be able to write data through the USB Port or use the Modem Except you.

Did you found any of methods or processes above confusing, no need to worry, that’s why we have the comment box below for you. Also, please feel free to ask any questions, if any.
