How To Know If The E-mail You Sent Has Been Read: Free Email Tracking Service

I know we all have at one point sent an email that we never got a response to it, especially when you send your C.V and application letter for job to a company through your email. This does nothing but keeps one wondering and asking if they ever got the email; if they ever opened it or if they read the email at all. Believe me, it is not a good feeling at all. I don’t know about you but I would be pleased to know that the recipient actually got my email but didn’t just reply. That way, I know it has nothing to do with something from my own end.

If you want to start tracking your emails to know when they have been read, read this article to get it done at ease.

1. GetNotify – Free Email Tracking & Marketing service
GetNotify.comis a Free Email Tracking & Email Marketing service which tracks your sent emails, get email open and email read confirmation. Receive email message return receipt and read receipt. This means that you get alerted when the recipient read your email. GetNotifyis free to use but they do welcome and reward donations with additional features.

How to get this free email tracking service
v Login to www.getnotify.com and sign up with them.

v Login to the email you used when registering, you will see
Welcome to GetNotify.com message sent to you.

v Open the mail, click on the conformation link. It will open in a new page/window.

v Copy your Activation Code from your mail and paste it where they said you should type your Activation Code, click conform to conform your account with them.

v After account activation, you are recommended to send your first tracked email to yourself to see how it works. Simply write to your email address.getnotify.com (i.e your email address is your own email address, which you used when registering with getnotify.com) - eventually the email will be sent without .getnotify.com in the email address, so the recipient will not be aware the email is being tracked.

v After sending the mail to yourself, check your mail inbox, open the message you sent to yourself and spend some time to read it.

v Login/sign in to your Getnotify.com account, with your email address and the password you used when signing up. You will see the Email Tracking Details of your mail.

Note:
Ø They only allow you to send 150 emails per month (5 per day) for example on a free account.
Ø Your recipient will NOT KNOW that you have sent a tracked email. You will use your existing email address and existing email client program/web based email service provider to send your emails.
Ø Always login to your Getnotify account to get details if your email sent has been opened and read at all.

2. DidTheyReadIt.com – Free email tracking trial
This is another good free email tracking service site. When you use Didtheyreadit service, every e-mail that you send is invisibly tracked without alerting the recipient. Your recipient will not know you are tracking the emails and when they read your email message, you will immediately receive the following information:

Ø When, exactly, your email was opened

Ø How long your email remained opened

Ø Which geographically region your email was viewed

Click hereto go to their website and read more on how it works and sign up.

In summary, Didtheyreadit check if, when, where and how long your email was read. GetNotify can also tell you where, when and how long your email was read too. Both Getnotify and Didtheyreadit work with all major email providers like Yahoomail, Gmail, Outlook, HotMail, AOL and more.

There are more out there but these are the ones I have tried and it worked for me, even at the time of this posting. They are my choices, they have free packages and you can know when the recipient of your email reads it without them knowing you tracked it.

I know some people may find it difficult to do this, please feel free to use the comment box below to ask anything or anywhere you find it difficult to understand, I will definitely give you reply to your question.
