How to Add Breadcrumb Navigation to Blogger/Blogspot Blog

It is not difficult to add a breadcrumb to your blog but it does involve adding a snippet of code to your template. Below is a step by step walk through which I have aimed at beginners so that anyone reading my blog will be able to follow the instructions.
If you have been reading entertainmentinfotech.com lately, you might have seen a simple row of navigation above the title of an article that you’re reading, like the screenshot below:

With a few modifications to your blogger template code, you can add the “breadcrumb-navigation” to your blogger blog.

Just follow the steps below:

1. Please log in to blogger with your ID, if you are not already logged in

2. Navigate to Template > > Edit HTML

3.     Click Edit HTML tab

4 4. Click Download Full Template and please back up your template first

5. Back up your blog using Download Full Template as a precaution in case you accidentally overwrite some code and are not able to retrieve it.

6. Use CTRL F to find this code </b:skin>

7. Copy and paste the code below exactly above the code </b:skin>

/* Breadcrumb from www.entertainmentinfotech.com
----------------------------------------------- */
.breadcrumbs {
      padding:5px 5px 5px 0px;
        margin: 0px 0px 15px 0px;
      font-size:100%;
        line-height: 1.4em;
      border-bottom:3px double #e6e4e3;
      }

8. Again, use CTRL F to find any of the following code in your template:

                   OR

                  OR

9. Now Copy and paste the code below exactly below any of the codes above in step 8

<b:if cond='data:blog.homepageUrl == data:blog.url'>
      <b:else/>
        <b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "item"'>

             Browse »  Home
        <b:loop values='data:posts' var='post'>
          <b:if cond='data:post.labels'>
            <b:loop values='data:post.labels' var='label'>
                  <b:if cond='data:label.isLast == "true"'> »
                    <data:label.name/>
                  </b:if>
          </b:loop>
      » <data:post.title/>

How To Configure Android Phone Internet Settings in Nigeria

Configuring/Setting up Android phones internet settings is one of the major problem some Android phone users do encounter some things. If you are someone that prefers to connect your Android phone or tab to the internet using mobile networks instead of wi-Fi networks, then there is need for you to activate mobile data service on your Android device.

Most Android tablets and phones are unable to accept Over-The-Air (OTA) 3G/GPRS settings (i.e Automatic configuration settings) and for that, you need to be set up it manually.

In this post, you will learn how you can manually set up Etisalat, Glo, Airtel and MTN internet settings on your Android phone or tab, be it Samsung, HTC, LG or Tecno Android phone. You must know the APN of Etisalat, Glo, MTN and Airtel for you to be able to configure your Android for internet.

Steps to configure Internet Settings On your Android Phone or tablet
Step 1: Tap "Menu" or "Apps"

Step 2:  Tap "Settings"

Step 3: Tap "Wireless and Networks" or "More Settings" or “All Settings”

Step 4: If you tapped "Wireless and Networks" => tap "Mobile Networks" => tapped "More Settings" or “All Settings” => tap "Mobile Networks" or "Mobile Data"

Step 5: Tap "Access Point names"

Step 6: Choose the network of your choice (i.e if your Android phone is a dual SIM type)

Step 7: Press "Menu" (looks like four horizontal lines, a square within a square or the word Menu). Select ‘New APN’ (This is where you will enter the specific internet settings of the mobile network you want to configure on your Android device).

Let me assume you want to configure Glo Mobile GPRS settings on your Android. Just key in the details below:
Name: Glo Nigeria
APN: gloflat
Proxy:
Port:
Username: flat
Password: flat
Server:
MMSC:
MMS Proxy:
MMS Port:
MCC:
MNC:
Authentication type:
APN Type:

Step 8: Press "Menu" and select "Save"

Step 9: Press on the grey box or circle to the right of "Glo Nigeria" and it will fill in with a smaller green dot or tick mark.

NOTE: Enable data access over Mobile network’ is ticked.
If you look closely at the settings above, you will notice that you entered only the Name, APN, Username and Password while leaving the other parameters untouched. The four parameters are the main settings you need to configure to make your android phone or tab to browse with the mobile network of your choice.

Below are the 3G/GPRS Android Internet Settings for MTN, Glo. Airtel and Etisalat Nigeria

MTN 3G/GPRS Internet settings for Android
Name: MTN Nigeria
APN: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
Username: web

That's all.

Assuming you have already purchased or subscribed to a mobile data plan of your preferred mobile network, you should be able to connect to the internet after successful manual configuration of your Android device. You can restart your phone though.

NOTE: This guide is applicable anywhere in the world, provided you know the internet settings of your country's mobile networks.

If you have contributions or questions to ask, kindly relay them via comments. If the internet settings of your mobile network is not listed in this post, feel free to share the settings via comments.

Am sure you are aware of Glo 4G LTE internet service, Glo 4G LTE network Data Plans & Subscription Price. Recently, some of my blog readers complained they cannot be able to activate their Glo sim card for 4G services, although I experienced same issue too.

Few days later i was able to get the best and simple way to activate my Glo sim card for 4G services. Today, am here to share the simple way I used to activate my Glo sim card for 4G services.
How To Activate Glo 4G LTE On Your Mobile Phone
Incase you don’t know, MTN and Etisalat has also joined the trend of 4G LTE. We are still expecting Airtel to launch their own 4G LTE internet services.

Glo 4G LTE data bundles are tempting and extremely cheap, what is left right now is for you to get it working on your mobile device.

How Can I Activate Glo 4G LTE on my Mobile Device
1. First of all, you must make sure you have a 4G LTE enabled smartphone.

2. Go to Glo office closest to you and buy a new 4G LTE SIM, get it registered or swap your normal glo sim for a 4G LTE sim

3. Once it is has been successfully swapped, dial *777# to get any of the 4G available plans.

How do I Know if my Phone is Compatible?
Glo has made it easier for you to know if your phone is compatible with their 4G LTE network, just text 4G to 400 and you’ll receive a message telling you if its compatible or not.

Will it Work on PC,
  • Yes, the 4G LTE sim will work on Glo 4G router or any Universal MiFi available to you but it will not work on a normal Modem.
  • You can also connect your 4G enabled smartphone via hotspot to your PC.
After you have successfully activated your Glo 4G LTE On Your Mobile Phone, see the current cheapest Glo 4G data plans and their prices.

Kindly let us know once you’ve gotten yours and the price of the sim accordingly.

How I Republish My Unpublished Facebook Page within 24hrs

Today, I want to share something very interesting which I believe many Facebook users that own Facebook Page encountered or currently facing but before we go down to the mean topic let me explain one or two things.

What is Facebook Page?
A Facebook page is a public profile specifically created for businesses, brands, celebrities, causes, and other organizations. Unlike personal profiles, pages do not gain "friends," but "fans" - which are people who choose to "like" a page. Pages can gain an unlimited number of fans, differing from personal profiles, which has had a 5,000 friend maximum put on it by Facebook.

How do I create a Facebook page for my business?
From your Facebook profile page, click the Pages header in the left-side navigation. Next, click the Create a Page button, and select the type of page--Local Business or Place, for example, or Brand or Product. You'll see a number of fields to fill out, such as your business category, name, and address.

How do you create a page on Facebook?
To create a Page:
  • Go to facebook.com/pages/create.
  • Click to choose a Page category.
  • Select a more specific category from the dropdown menu and fill out the required information.
  • Click Get Started and follow the on-screen instructions.

How to Republish Unpublished Facebook Page
Recently my business page was unpublished because it violates one or more of the Facebook Pages Terms. I cannot create advertisements for it. When I click the link to "Publish Page" nothing happens and my Facebook Page was only visible to me.

Indeed i felt it because that is one of my main Facebook Page but all thanks to God because it was later republished after I did serials of research on how to Republish Unpublished Facebook Page. Below is the proceeds I followed to Republish my Unpublished Facebook Page.

1. I deleted all posts in my Facebook page.

2. I deleted all recent visitors comment

3. I send appeal for unpublished pages through the link below:

4. Select the Page for the drop down

5. In Additional details box, please provide any additional details that you'd like facebook to know as they review your appeal. For me, I just notified them that my Page was Unpublished because it violates one or more of the Facebook Pages Terms and appeal for my Page to be Republish.

That all, no much grammar.

Note: You can only do this through the Facebook account you created the Page i.e you must be the “Admin” to the Page. You must not appeal more than more twice, if possible once.

I hope these procedures I took will also work for you too.
